With current Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris potentially on the way out the exit door, the North London club have placed a new gloveman on their transfer priority list.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romanonow Spurs appear to have zeroed in on Brentford goalkeeper David Raya as a replacement for Lloris.

According to Romano, the Spurs are on the verge of agreeing to a long-term contract with Raya.

However, the main issue could be Raya’s transfer fee, as Brentford are holding out for $74 million.

That’s something Romano says Spurs are reluctant to pay, especially as Raya has a year left on his deal with the Bees.

Jadon Sancho has shown his former self since his move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United but has struggled to justify his high transfer fee.

Now United are ready to cut their spending and are reportedly considering selling Sancho in the summer should an offer of $111 million come in. Daily Express.

The report claims that Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag has little faith in the 23-year-old winger, who scored ten goals in 41 appearances in all competitions last season.

With Sancho reportedly on the sidelines at United, rival clubs are on red alert and ready to leave.

One of those clubs is “Tottenham”. Daily Express Postecoglou claims to be the “love” of England.

Whether or not this will turn into something more concrete remains to be seen, but it would be a major statement of intent if Postecoglou continues to push for Sancho.

With Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez clear first-choice options at the back, with Victor Lindelof and even left-back Luke Shaw ahead of him, Harry Maguire’s days at Manchester United are numbered.

The Red Devils skipper struggled for game time in Ten Haag’s first season at Old Trafford and will face the same problems next season.

Despite his lack of minutes, Maguire has continued to be called up to England, although Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate admits the full-back position is under threat if he continues to warm the United bench.

Sun Newcastle United are ready to offer Maguire a way out of Manchester on loan, but the Red Devils are reluctant to help their direct rivals.

Instead, Manchester United will demand a permanent transfer as they look to recoup the staggering $149 million they spent to win him from Leicester in 2019.

Newcastle, like the Red Devils, will be competing in the Champions League next season and will no doubt be hoping for another successful Premier League campaign.
